As a mother of three I have been taking in the state of the world the last year, and feeling more alone, more despondent and enraged that basic human decency feels like it’s become less and less the norm. After watching history, the worst parts of history, repeat itself I did what I do. I used creativity to process the grief and rage and anger I feel, most of it isn’t postable, or even finished…but I couldn’t get this little face out of my mind…he is someone’s baby…and he his not bait. Resistance is rooted in your humanity, so if you are trembling with rage at the things you are seeing, you are not alone…community is resistance.
